Join us in the park for a rare performance by Symbolica, a youth flag dance group from Genk, Belgium. This special event will turn your lunch break into a delightful cultural experience, where 34 dancers will blend their heritage with contemporary flair in dynamic choreography.
In partnership with the Embassy of Belgium, the Golden Triangle BID is proud to welcome Symbolica, who visit the U.S only once every seven years. The group has been performing for over 50 years, traveling across Europe and the United States to share their art. Flag dancing is a niche within the broader world of dance, but through their many international performances, Symbolica is committed to keeping this traditional form alive and relevant.
