Golden Triangle BID’s Low Impact Development Design-Build Request for Proposals

The Golden Triangle Business Improvement District (GTBID) is pleased to release this Request for Proposals (RFP) to expand upon the 19th Street Rain Gardens Project with additional low impact development (LID) on 19th Street between K Street and Pennsylvania Ave NW. Funding comes from the EPA’s State Revolving Fund, so compliance for construction with federal funding applies.

These additional streetscape features will not only remove and replace pavement with LID, but they will also create new green spaces and add native plants to a dense, urban neighborhood. Through this RFP, the GTBID seeks a qualified contractor(s) to design and build LID that balances maximum stormwater retention for the award amount with production of high quality installations that seamlessly fit into the downtown streetscape.

Total Award Amount: $482,000
Application Deadline: January 31st, 2020
