Join us in the park for children’s stories, live music, and crafts with DC Mobile Library. Designed for preschool and early elementary ages, there is a variety of interactive activities to explore throughout the hour.

Classes are outdoors and weather dependent.

Kofi Dennis presents Anansegro: A Visit to An African Village: Join Wolf Trap Master Teaching Artist Kofi Dennis for an imaginary journey to share in the sounds, drumming, and movements of African rhythmic traditions. Discover call and response songs, stories, traditional instruments, and games in a highly interactive exploration of African cultures and customs.

Cantaré presents ¡Mucha Música! – A Musical Journey to Latin America: Experience the many rhythms and unique instruments from different regions of Latin America while learning about the Indigenous, European, and African cultures that shaped Latin music. Cantaré’s interactive performance offers many chances to sing, play instruments, and dance!
