A Dozen Chances to Win Big Prizes during the ’12 Days of Golden Giveaways’ In DC’s Golden Triangle Gratis Gift Wrapping and Great Shops are All Part of the Celebration
WASHINGTON, DC—Nov. 24, 2014—One lucky winner will be going home with $1,200 worth of jewelry from Tiny Jewel Box in the District’s Golden Triangle Business Improvement District as part of its “12 Days of Golden Giveaways” event. Additional prizes include gift certificates and prize packages to leading retailers and establishments in the Golden Triangle neighborhood, which encompasses the 43 blocks from the White House to Dupont Circle.
The Golden Triangle will choose one winner each day from those who register at 12GOLDENDAYS.com.

Gratis Gift Wrapping
The sidewalks of the Golden Triangle will be filled with Santa’s helpers, who want to make the holidays easy for everyone. They will be offering free gift wrapping of Golden Triangle holiday purchases at the following locations:
Dec. 1–19 from Noon–2 p.m.
Mondays: 1133 Connecticut Ave. (in front of H&M)
Tuesdays: 1746 L Street (in front of Sarar Menswear)
Wednesdays: 1133 Connecticut Ave. (in front of H&M)
Thursdays: 1746 L St. (in front of Sarar Menswear)
Fridays: 1122 Connecticut Ave. (next to GAP)
Gold Thursdays
Thursdays will be extra special this year in the neighborhood. Here is what will be happening:
Thurs., Dec. 4
The Golden Triangle will award four prize packs at the two holiday gift wrapping stations
Prizes include Lou Lou Boutiques $100 gift card; two Bourbon Coffee $10 gift cards; City Sports Gift Bag; and free tickets to National Geographic.
Thurs., Dec. 11
Dickens era carolers will be performing festive holiday songs from Noon–2 p.m. at 1746 L Street NW (in front of Sarar Menswear).
Thurs., Dec. 18
The Golden Triangle will continue its great partnership that helps connect people with dogs and cats that need new homes. We will hold a pet adoption with the Washington Animal Rescue League from Noon–2 p.m. at 1746 L Street NW (in front of Sarar Menswear).
Great Decorations
The BID will decorate the neighborhood with festive décor throughout the holiday season. Farragut Square Park decorating will occur today; the new rain gardens at 19th and L Streets will start featuring red and yellow twig dogwood stems and other festive plantings on Nov. 25; and at Golden Triangle Park (intersection of M Street, 21st Street, and New Hampshire Ave.), decorations will go up Nov. 26.
All this activity adds up to a winning combination for shoppers looking for the perfect place to choose the perfect gift and enjoy the spirit of the season.
