Washington, DC (October 2, 2023) — The Golden Triangle Business Improvement District (BID) announced today that Francisco Gonzalez of Gensler and Tanya Seyfert of Cushman & Wakefield are elected to the BID governing board, with terms effective Oct. 1.
Francisco Gonzalez, a Principal at Gensler has more than 20 years of experience in the design industry. Tanya Seyfert, Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield has more than 30 years of property management experience.
As board members, Gonzalez and Seyfert will work to help set priorities and goals for the BID as the Golden Triangle celebrates 25 years of effort to make the District’s downtown business corridor vibrant, clean, safe, and welcoming to the tens of thousands of visitors and workers who pass through it each day.
“Francisco and Tanya are highly accomplished professionals who are familiar with the Golden Triangle, the challenges that the downtown faces, and the opportunities for the future,” said Leona Agouridis, President and CEO of the Golden Triangle BID. “We’re excited to add their expertise to our full Board, which represents a range of perspectives guiding our work to transform DC’s downtown.”
The Golden Triangle BID Board includes 23 members representing a mix of entities that include real estate, retail, academia, and hotels.
