The Golden Triangle BID Launches Online #GiveThanksGiveaway Campaign to Support Small Businesses in the Neighborhood

Washington, D.C. (November 9, 2020) – To kick off an unusual holiday shopping season, the Golden Triangle BID is launching an Instagram giveaway campaign to put a spotlight on 10 local small businesses and encourage the public to buy locally as they shop virtually. The #GiveThanksGiveaway campaign includes five days of giveaways, from Monday, November 16, through Friday, November 20. Each day, the public will have a chance to enter and win a selection of favorites from each participating BID business by engaging with the post. 

“2020 has been a difficult year for all of us, and we would like to say thank you to our community for its continued support, and to the local small businesses that give so much life to our neighborhood,” said Leona Agouridis, Executive Director of the Golden Triangle BID. “We hope the #GiveThanksGiveaway campaign offers an engaging way to kick off the holiday season while connecting the public with small businesses who need support and attention right now.”  

Participating retailers and restaurants include neighborhood mainstays and favorites Andre Chreky Salon, Caruso Florists, Chocolate Chocolate, Greek Deli, Jenni Bick, Ristorante i Ricchi, Taberna del AlabarderoTeaism Tiny Jewel Box, and Un je ne sais Quoi.
