Washington, D.C. (April 21, 2017) – Staying fit throughout the summer just got a lot easier for those who work or live near Washington, D.C.’s central business district. The Golden Triangle Business Improvement District announces the return of its popular TriFit outdoor fitness series, which features three different, “after-work workouts” – including barre, pilates and yoga.

TriFit programs will be offered free on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, at 5:30 p.m., from May 2 to September 28, with a schedule as follows:

  • Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m.: CorePower Yoga, Farragut Park
  • Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m.: Freedom Barre, Plaza at 2100 M St.
  • Thursdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m.: Pilates, Farragut Park

“As a fitness instructor myself, I know there is no better way to wind down from a stressful work day than to engage in an outdoor workout,” said Leona Agouridis, Golden Triangle BID Executive Director. “TriFit is a great part of our busy summer events season in the Golden Triangle and we are delighted to bring it back for another exciting year.”

TriFit participants are asked to RSVP online and accept the terms and conditions in order to participate in classes. Pre-registration is encouraged and will allow all who wish to participate the ability to do so hassle-free throughout the summer. Attendees are also asked to come prepared with their own workout mat.
