Washington, DC (May 12, 2022) — The Golden Triangle Business Improvement District (BID) today announced its 2022 movie lineup for GLDN+ Cinema, which kicks off on Thursday, June 2, with Disney’s Encanto. The outdoor movies series is a favorite event of the Golden Triangle community and resuming after a two-year hiatus as workers and others return to central Washington.
All movies will be shown Thursdays at sunset on a big screen in Farragut Square and are free and open to the public. The 2022 Cinema schedule is being presented as a two-part series, with four movies in June and four movies in September.
“There’s something almost magical about being outside watching a movie on a big screen along K Street in the middle of Farragut Square,” said Leona Agouridis, Executive Director of the Golden Triangle BID. “GLDN+ Cinema offers friends and families the chance to relax together after a busy workday and share a memorable DC experience.”
